Our mission is to provide the best hospice care in Southwest Ohio. We are locally owned and operated, and have a passion for helping members of this amazing community. We believe that quality care is determined by the wishes and needs of patients and their families. This care includes our commitment to allow our patients to remain wherever they call home through their end-of-life journey. To accomplish this, we strive to support not only our patients but the staff serving them. Our clinicians are given the time and resources necessary to provide the highest level of care. We are proud to employ staff members dedicated to quality hospice care, including physicians, nurses, home health aides, social workers, and chaplains. Our staff provides physical, emotional, and spiritual support through the different levels of hospice and palliative care to give our patients and their families the peace-of-mind they deserve. Each discipline is focused not only on maintaining comfort and dignity, but on educating our patients and families on what to expect during end-of-life changes.
Defining Quality Care
Our team carries low patient caseloads. What does this mean for our patients? It means more visits, better care, and the comfort they deserve. We strive to keep our patients at home and avoid rehospitalizations. By spending more time at bedside and communicating effectively and often with patients and their families, we provide the best hospice and palliative care in the Dayton area.
Commitment to be There
When a decline becomes evident, we will increase visits or provide 24/7 continuous care when it is clinically appropriate. We pride ourselves on our staffing levels and our ability to fulfill this promise for each and every hospice patient. With a dedicated team and low caseloads, each one of our patients and their families will have the dignity and comfort they deserve through their entire time with us.
Specialized On-Call Team
Needs can arise at any time. We have a 24-hour call line with a Nurse Manager and team of field staff to provide quality care any time, day or night. The dedicated professionals on our team work with patients after-hours, on weekends, and during holidays. We created our specialized on-call team because we feel it best meets the needs of our patients and their families.
We provide supplemental care that goes above-and-beyond the requirements set by Medicare. We believe that each patient deserves the highest quality care. Supplemental care can be used to control symptoms and stress through a variety of non-medical interventions, in addition to any medical care that is also being provided. Music therapy, massage therapy, and pet therapy are included in this type of care.
We Are Local
We are an Ohio-based business. Decisions about hospice and palliative care are made locally with patients and families in mind. Our staff members are rooted in the communities we serve and are dedicated to delivering the highest quality of care for their fellow southwestern Ohio residents. Because our decisions are made at the local level, we are able to be agile and provide services that lead to improved care.
We have great relationships with other businesses in the community. If we have a patient in a nursing home or assisted living facility, we work in conjunction with the facility staff to provide seamless end-of-life care. Our team members take the time to communicate effectively with our community partners to properly tend to the needs of patients and families.
